It was a true honor to take the stage as the first Turkish journalist to host at Web Summit, one of the world’s most impactful global gatherings at the intersection of technology, media, and social change.

Held in Doha, the 2024 edition brought together over 15,000 participants from 118 countries -activists, entrepreneurs, journalists, and creators- committed to shaping a more just, inclusive, and sustainable digital future.

To represent Turkey and contribute to conversations on innovation that center equity, ethics, and global solidarity was not just a milestone in my career, but a deeply meaningful experience. Spaces like these are powerful reminders of how storytelling, tech, and collective action can converge to challenge systems and imagine better worlds.
